The institutional videos below show some of the experiments that I have conducted as a Forest Ecologist at the Caçador Research Station for almost 20 years.
This Embrapa's video shows the different restoration models developed and tested in the Caçador Research Station as part of a community-based research.
This Epagri's video shows the various experiments and beautiful imagery of the Araucaria Forest that cover most of the Caçador Reseach Station.

Here I present some of my publications that I found the most interesting either for my perceived impact or for personal satisfaction.
Forest management and restoration: a tool for decision making

An healthy and productive forest must be adequately managed. Based on general and simple forest attributes, a decision tree can be used to determine suggested best practices for forest management.

The decision tree assesses four forest parameters leading to a forest management system that should best tackles the sustainable needs of an agroforestry system. Additionally, the user is called to observe for the presence of local influences such as the presence of invasive species and current uses and practices. The parameters to be observed are:
